Message from the desk of the Principal. It is a pleasure to welcome you and your child to W. S. Hornsby Elementary School. We believe that it is a privilege to work with you to provide exceptional educational opportunities so your child may discover the joy of lifetime learning. We believe that Hornsby Elementary School will be one of the finest schools in the state with an emphasis on excellence, helping children develop individual skills and abilities. As your principal, I want you to know that "Children are First" for me. I expect to see great strides in the academic achievement of our students. I believe it is our responsibility to teach our students to be life long learners and potentially good citizens. It is our plan to continue to strive for excellence in all of our students.
